Master of Commerce (Management)

Course Code: MC-COMMGT | CRICOS: 075103F

The Master of Commerce (Management) provides business/commerce graduates with advanced level studies in management on an internationally recognised pathway. The course offers more comprehensive training in a specialised field and the opportunity to gain research experience through a research project.

What makes this course exceptional?

It is the only course for pre-experience students from a cognate background who want to further their understanding of management. It has a unique research component, which prepares you to enter the professional world with sound problem-solving and investigatory skills or to move on to an academic career through a PhD. The thesis component of the program allows you to work independently, managing a project over the course of a year. Through this, you gain valuable skills relevant to your future career at both a professional and personal level.

Real business challenges

The GSBE offers opportunities outside the classroom to gain hands on knowlege and experience in the workplace. For example, the Global Business Practicum (GBP) is a credit-based subject providing an overseas study experience. The subject consists of a two-week work project undertaken an international company, preceded by seminars on culture and business practices in the host country. You will work in teams and present project findings and recommendations to senior company representatives at the end of their placement.
