The Master of Management provides specialist training in the attributes needed to become a successful manager and leader including: managing innovation and change; motivating and leading people; developing strategies for national and global markets; and developing market-oriented organisations.
The degree is available as two options.
This internationally recognised degree is for those seeking careers in general management or whose current role requires managerial and leadership capabilities.
The GSBE offers opportunities outside the classroom to gain hands on knowlege and experience in the workplace. For example, the Global Business Practicum (GBP) is a credit-based subject providing an overseas study experience. The subject consists of a two-week work project undertaken an international company, preceded by seminars on culture and business practices in the host country. You will work in teams and present project findings and recommendations to senior company representatives at the end of their placement.
The Master of Management is suited to students who have an undergraduate degree from areas outside of commerce and aim to gain a managerial position in their field.

Tajul Ariffin, Master of Management
My first year with the GSBE has given me a perspective on the dynamics that shape a team, business and organisation. I've been exposed to insightful case studies and scholarly work which not only examines the business world of the past, but also speculates on what we can expect in the future. I've had the opportunity of approaching the challenges that I've faced previously in my workplace with a different point of view through scholarly teaching and individual research. In the areas of Organisational Behavior, Team Dynamics and Change Culture, I've come to understand why and how certain things comes to be and what could be bettered or worsened in different situations.
