Graduate Certificate in Business Forensics

The Graduate Certificate in Business Forensics is a short, professionally relevant program catering to industry demand. The course provides you with the opportunity to gain specialist skills and knowledge in business forensics in the areas of business valuation, assessment of information systems security, expert witness processes and the laws of evidence. Students with an undergraduate degree in accounting receiving the Graduate Certificate in Business Forensics can credit the four subjects taken in the Graduate Certificate towards the Master of Accounting.

The course will provide you with the opportunity to develop:

  • Specialist skills which add value to the firm through specialist consulting services to clients
  • Formal academic recognition of industry experience and knowledge (especially important when a forensic specialist appears before the court as an expert witness)
  • Enhancement of training in legal processes, business valuation methods, investigative techniques and relevant IT forensic processes.

The Graduate Certificate in Business Forensics is a four subject program, comprising three core subjects and one elective. This course is offered on a part-time basis only. Four subjects will normally be completed in one year of part-time study.
