Master of Business and IT (12 subject program) CRICOS 045349K

The Master of Business and IT (MBIT) is designed to provide core business knowledge and IT management skills to leaders in the digital firm. The program is ideal for graduates seeking managerial or commercial roles in any organisation seeking to develop strategic competencies through the effective use of IT.

As an MBIT graduate, your career path will be shaped by your interests. Each student will have a customised course plan that takes into account prior study, work experience and desired career outcomes. Course plans are available for outcomes such as Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, IT Consultant, Operations Manager, IT Manager, Business Manager, Knowledge Manager, and IT Sales Manager.

MBIT subjects do not include computer programming or software engineering. Those wishing to pursue a systems analyst role should acquire these skills prior to entry or pursue elective options outside the normal program offering.

The 12 subject program is open to graduates with at least one year of work experience, and will normally be completed in 18 months of full-time study or three years part time. If you do not have work experience, please refer to the 16 subject program.
